Wow I think it's the first time where I see a movie where the ''killer'' is almost nice...the girl was just stupid cus if she had just ''play the game'' like being nice with him i'm pretty sure it would have been okay.
..but well you know it's a movie and they needed a plotline,i'm not sure a lot of people would have watch the freak and the girl eating diner during 90 (+/-)minutes long it wouldn't have been the same lol.
