Review of P2 (2007) by Alma G — 05 Jan 2012
First off, let me start this by saying that Ebert gave "P2" three out of four stars, so I'm not the only one who found this movie enjoyable. Wes Bentley pretty much owns this entire movie as a lonely, in-love psychopath who, by the end of the film, half of the audience is sincerely attached to and finds him almost lovable (even though he's a murderer).
I know I was rooting for him. The idea of being trapped in a parking garage is a pretty creepy one and what else can I say, except that I was truly entertained by this movie. Arkansan Wes Bentley has done his hometown proud with P2, not American Beauty, like I know most people were hoping would establish him as a huge movie star.
Ha.
