Review of P2 (2007) by Cli O — 14 Dec 2008

Probably one of the best thriller/horror movies ever. A friend and I went to see this film, and we were shocked and in disbelief throughout the whole movie. We left the theater cringing, especially because of the scene where the victim tears off her own fingernail in a desperate attempt to reach a phone.

I can't believe critics give this movie such harsh criticism, it was a really good story and well produced. It's far better than probably any other horror film in recent memory. I'll never understand why such good films like this get such a lousy rating while crap-fests like "Wendy and Lucy" get an 88% rating.

I guess we just live in an unjust world. I'm very critical of horror films, and can't remember the last time a good one was produced (it would have to be "the Sixth Sense," "the Shining," or "the Orphanage" for sure).

But this was a great film, and trust me, if you like scary movies, you won't be disappointed.
