Review of P2 (2007) by Ashley B — 16 Apr 2009
Have you ever had that sneaking feeling that someone was following you on your way to the car in a darkly dim parking garage late at night?
Well, this film takes you to that feeling, but instead, pathetic security guard is the one stalking you with a twisted notion of Justice and Love.
At its best, its interesting seeing a villain/slasher that doesnâ??t fit the typical â??Homicidalâ?? look of psychos and killers, you have a lowly security guard with a mental disorder of misplaced passion. Instead of the killer being relatable, you end up pitying him throughout the whole film, taking the edge of terror away. The actress, was bland and typical. Turn, scream at the camera, run, show nervousness, fallâ?¦ and repeat.
This film is so average that I couldnâ??t find anything really wrong with it, but yet due to its mediocrity, nothing good came out of it as well. All in all, itâ??s a fun watch, but nothing more.
