Review of OzLand (2015) by Glenn P — 12 Apr 2016
OzLand is a great example of how passion, creativity and determination can make up for anything lost by having a smaller budget. The film pushes itself in every department in an attempt to set new standards for what can be done by independent filmmakers.
On top of a high production value in general, the film makes great use of practical effects. Scenes that, if handled incorrectly, could have brought the movie down, instead elevate the film's story as well as its entertainment factor.
Director Michael Williams and the entire team should be very proud of what they accomplished. I can't wait to see what comes next!
