I tried to watch this movie without comparing it the original Wizard of Oz but I was unable to not think about the original classic. There are a few good moments in the movie but it does not seem as magical or entertaining as the original film.
The CGI is distracting at times and some of the characters are not really developed. Overall the movie is a nice try but it is a disappointment.
