The best thing this movie has going for it is a sense of nostalgia for The Wizard of Oz. Which isn't necessarily a good thing because The Wizard of Oz is a much better movie. This one is okay. I really liked Michelle Williams' as Glinda.
Her beauty and warmth filled every scene she was in. Mila Kunis doesn't come close to capturing the menace of Margaret Hamilton's Wicked Witch. I felt like there was more the filmmakers could have done with L.
Frank Baum's books to make the story different enough from the original movie. And if Disney is going to make a movie that is that similar to The Wizard of Oz, figure out a way to get the rights to the music from MGM.
