Review of Oz the Great and Powerful (2013) by Mitchell Z — 25 Dec 2014
Though the effects are absolutely marvelous, Oz the Great and Powerful has an inconsistent plot that tries to do too much to establish an origin to the classic film. James Franco is also a miscast as the lead, it just didn't seem to fit what the writers were trying to accomplish with the Oz character.
Still however, it makes for a decently entertaining film.
