John Hurt is freaking amazing in this movie, but most of the movie is such a drag for spending so much time in casinos. Strange how Mahowny is a compulsive gambler but you never see any emotion whatsoever from him while gambilng except his face looks like he's constipated.
Strange how little time Mahowny got for the crimes (theft over $200), and funny how he sort of became an Atlantic City legend.
