[color=cyan]Phil Hoffman simply owns this movie, just another in the long line of incredible performances from him. The rest of the film is pretty shoddy, particularly the casino owner role, the girlfriend, the bookie, etc.
, you get the idea. When Hoffman isn't on screen, it's pretty weak - still worth seeing, though.[/color].
