Review of Overtime (2012) by Steve W — 21 Jan 2013
Outstanding performances by the two primaries; Al Snow and John Wells, as well as some snarky writing by Brian Cunningham and Matt Niehoff carry this film and make it better than I would have ever expected.
What could have been just another low budget sci-fi horror flick became highly entertaining, and at some points even laugh out loud funny. If you are a movie buff, there are a lot of little hat tips to other great films, one in particular that comes to mind is Ghost Busters.
The unique cinematography of Cunningham as well as an outstanding original score by composer Jason Paige help to make OVERTIME: The Movie a successful, highly enjoyable and entertaining independent film.
