Review of Overlord (2018) by Glen K — 09 Nov 2018

If you were hoping for something more like Hellboy instead of a B grade and low budget semi horror film, you'll be only liking this movie on the 3 star level. That means it is tolerable but not really worth going to the theater to see it.

The acting is mostly over the top by small character actors, the movie is filmed pretty much in one setting, and the film lacks much originality from previous movies in this genre. Yeah, it is a video game, but it doesn't really translate to film very well.

It isn't either very exciting or scary. Find something else to watch this weekend and wait for this on DVD.
