I am not a fan at all of films using stock footage in their film. Especially with it taking up almost 30 min of a film. But there some wonderful shots here and when the directer actually has to direct some scenes he really has an eye for it.
It was made in 1975, but it feels like it was made in the late 50's/early 60's. With a bigger budget this could have been such a better film about one man's day on D-Day.
