Review of Overboard (1987) by Bennett S — 19 Jul 2009
I don't care how many bad movies he's been in. It is still my belief that Kurt Russell epitomizes the 80's better than any other actor. This one is a gem though, and Russell delivers big time in this stellar romantic comedy.
The supporting cast can become stale at times, but the chemistry between Russell and Hawn is electric and entertaining. Like any Russell movie, the plot is farfetched and rather ridiculous, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
This one is a definite must-see.
