Some might say I'm letting nostalgia affect my rating of this film. I don't deny it, but I also don't care. This movie is pretty awful, but I have fond memories of watching it as a kid. Any movie featuring Stallone, especially when he was accomplishing some unusual physical feat, was "big kid" territory.
Just catching glimpses of it made me feel like more of a man. You just don't see that anymore. We have no action heroes who inspire like Stallone, Bruce Willis and Arnold used to. I feel like that magic died with the 80s.
