Review of Over the Top (1987) by Suveera A — 04 Jun 2008
Action Film Hero Sylvester Stallone as truck driver Lincoln "HAWKS" Hawk is faced with two major life-changing obstacles in order to further survive in the tough life and must absolutely prove himself totally worthy.
First emotionally and most importantly, reconciling with his estranged son (David Mendenhall in a strong role puntuated with great acting) "Meet Me Halfway" whilst being physically challenged to an extraordinary bout of arm-wrestling championship.
Once again in this underrated role, Stallone is totally challenged and dangerously pushed to the cliff edge with profound results, which says a lot about his honest character. The character that is truly The Champion Sylvester Stallone!!!
