Review of Over the Hedge (2006) by Gemsicle — 06 Nov 2022
A raccoon who is desperately hungry inserts money from a vending machine that amateurishly gets jammed before completing the transaction and does whatever juvenile maneuver to complete it. Resulting his failures, he turns his head to a bear cave that is more convenient at the moment from a bear who has no origin of his idee fixe for human food instead of fish. While making a robbery from the bear he accidently loses the load of food to a truck and is to retrieve it all before the spoiled bear's hibernation is over with the help of critters who come across a hedge that has been sitting there for who knows how long, along with their residency.
It looks like a charming and delightful computer-animated cartoon for the whole family, but the analogy of the film's animals remains absent and left my involvement unassured.
