Review of Over the Edge (1979) by Dave R — 19 Jun 2010
A story about youthful rebellion in the suburbs. I was a kid in the 70s and I remember what it was like before video games, cell phones and computers. kids didn't have much to do except hang out and get into trouble really.
this film really captures that period well - the music, the clothes, etc. while the story does go "over the edge" -as the title forewarns- I made me nostalgic for those simpler times of my youth.
nice to see matt dillon in his first film role.
