Get past the first five minutes and you have a chucklesome romantic comedy that is better than most of its ilk. Why get past the first five minutes? Because Eva Longoria's character is soooo under-the-skin irritating that you do wish her dead, your finger twitching over the off switch on the TV remote, and then phew she's dead.
Her character doesnt really add up either in those first five minutes. Would such a control freak bitch really not agree on how the ice sculpture would look prior to the guy forgetting to put wings on it.
..I dont think so...and how could anyone really wanna marry such a card carrying c*** - once Lake Bell becomes the lead the movie warms up a little and becomes more fun to watch. Yes you may argue that Longoria's character is meant to be a bitch but THAT much of one? No! Give it a whirl if you fancy an underdemanding chick flick.
