Seeing the clash of cultures is great fun and telling commentary on American viewpoints of other culture. The salesman enforcing 'american' accents on the indians is a perfect example of the disrespect that comes from ignorance of the world around us.
Although the hotel visit seemed to be nothing more than a base appeal to make westerners feel comfortable with whatever precept they have regarding thier entertainment choices.
