A collision of cultures film that, apart from the cultural misunderstandings, has no other jokes. However, it does get funnier as it progresses along its unfortunately mediocre story, with the romance subplot and ending as no suprise.
It shows rural India in a very good light, and Hamilton plays the American really well. Topical and light hearted.
