It had its moments of humor, but overall it ended up being unfortunately predictable. cows in a call center - I don't think so. and do american companies really send their 'exec vice presidents' to travel by second class on trains? and do companies really set up call centers without having someone check out whether it is housed in a half built concrete bunker? and was it really necessary to show, in mime, why the left hand is considered unclean? I could go on and on, but this movie seemed entirely unbelievable and inconsistent, and not just a little irritating.
a movie about this subject - especially a light hearted one - has so much material to play with, to show a very different side of india, full of dichotomies for sure, but not the kind they chose to show here.
and finally, would the local team in india really be unable to spell "TODD" for the driver at the airport? you know, i'll take back the "moments of humor" comment I started with.
this was a really stupid movie.
