It did have some funny culture shock moments. However, the love interest was pretty much a whore. I mean that in the best way possible considering the culture of India, that's what she was. I didn't believe the story and sometimes the acting was bad, shocking right? It might be as that I recognized the Bollywood film that was playing in the background in one of the senes.
It had a message, however considering it was supposed to be that not every place in the world is like America, I think it fell short.
