Review of Outsourced (2007) by Sean W — 12 Jul 2010
The story's a little basic. Typical fish out of water story. A guy goes to India, learns about its culture, has a bit of a romance . . . the plot points are pretty ho-hum. Thankfully, the characters do a wonderful job of selling it, as they wisely underplay their roles.
There's a romance, but it's restrained. The most you'll ever see is the two kissing, but it does more for the movie than an entire sex scene ever would. The land also plays a major role. We're constantly scanning the environment, checking things out.
In that respect, it's not too hard to identify with the lead, and it's not a bad way to spend an hour and 43 minutes.
