Review of Outsourced (2007) by Scott W — 26 Mar 2011
What a wonderfully, wonderfully sweet movie. This film completly took me by surprise. I stumbled on it realizing that it was the inspiration for the NBC show, but this is an entirely different animal. Full of characters with heart and personality, this visit to India is like a warm embrace from an old friend.
I can't remember seeing something that's made me smile so much from beginning to end in a long time. Between this and The House of Yes, Josh Hamilton is simply an endearing human being. He's someone that you can't help but want to spend time with, and he serves his purpose as the emotional anchor of this film with ease and a kind spirit.
Warm but never cheesy, simple but never dumb, smart but never cynical, kind but always sincere - this is a movie that I could recommend to almost anyone. Watch this movie.
