Review of Outsourced (2007) by Hoss J — 06 Dec 2011
Well, its better than the TV adaptation, in which the call center is tastefully decorated and softly lit and full of beautiful people. This movie paints a much more realistic picture. Many of the plot points even stem from the class inequality and poverty so omnipresent in India.
For all that, this is still a film about a privileged straight white guy living among exotic brown folk and learning their ways. Im tired of this plot. Its racist and classist and nationalist.
