Review of Outpost (2008) by Carlos S — 12 Aug 2008

While not entirely original, this is still a very enjoyable horror film. The story is about a group soldiers on patrol find an old Nazi bunker. After a while, some vicious SS zombie/ghosts/super-soldiers show up and start picking off the soldiers.

Thats a very basic plot outline, there is a lot more going on. The cast is good, the new Punisher, Ray Stevenson is really good here. There is a pretty decent amount of gore here and the evil nazis are really cool, not too over the top.

Overall, a good looking, stylish horror film with a couple of truly creepy moments.
