Here we are presented with a fascinating history lesson about one of Scotlands unsung heroes, Chris Pine as Sir Robert De Bruce the king of Scots will surely and most definitely have you under his spell, Outlaw king is ravishing history lesson presented with gracest of ways.

Dare I say that in the two hours run time I've learned a good deal about the Scotish passion and determination to free their land, to keep this fair I shall not compare this to Braveheart and what it accomplished, but I strongly believe that this film is a great tribute to it, After all, Robert De Bruce accomplished what Willaim Wallace was striving for.

I'm not entirely sure that the film was historically accurate but it honored the major events that happened centuries ago and for that, I must say with no shred of doubt on my mind that Outlaw King is an excellent film celebrating the achievements of a great Scottish hero.
