Review of Outlaw King (2018) by Robert B — 09 Nov 2018
The film shows the English for what they did to my country, but that is where the history stops. The rest is I must admit a load of rubbish. Before making such a film, the actual history should be consulted.
My ancestor, King Robert did not defeat Edward II at Louden Hill, it was Bannockburn and he would never ever be referred to as majesty as that title only came into use three hundred years later with Henry VIII.
So get your facts right before making a film about history. Even Diana Gabaldon got it wrong with Charles Stuart. He was a seasoned leader and not a fop as portrayed in outlander. As a direct descendant of both, I am disappointed in this load of rubbish.
