The story of Beowulf twisted slightly sci-fi with some aliens in the visage of Zuul from Ghostbusters. Jim â??Jesusâ?? Caviezel is a rather bland hero but there are some nice supporting turns from John Hurt and Ron Perlman.

I donâ??t know, I guess if youâ??re looking for a movie to watch alongside Zemeckisâ?? Beowulf, Pathfinder, The 13th Warrior, and Erick The Viking then this flick would fit the bill. The film just never held my interest and it never strayed from the typical narrative.

I thought the special effects and creature design held up rather well and the costuming looked greatâ?¦butâ?¦meh. Not VF.
