Review of Outlander (2008) by Simo R — 19 Sep 2009
Awesome! A kind of naive classic scifi feel to it. The clash of the culture of the vikings and that of Kainan works pretty well - especially the point of determinism versus a kind of existentialism. The movie is pretty and the Moorwen is well done: a smarter monster than most, and credible, in my opinion.
Film has some gruesomeness, but I think it's motivated by the story / possible message of the film.
