Review of Outlander (2008) by Christopher A — 02 Oct 2009
A sci-fi fantasy that falls into all the standard cliches, but the premise is so crazy it keeps it entertaining. I don't know if the acting is lacking due to the actors or due to poor direction; they can be pretty wooden at times.
Also, the premise and the introduction seem to promise us a lot more than we receive at the end, both with technology and with plot structure. Still, pretty entertaining romp that isn't too slow most of the times.
