Review of Outlander (2008) by Priscilla B — 01 Dec 2009

I enjoyed this enough on the whole. The story line had some holes in it and some of the acting was a bit dodgy, but OK for an evening with a beer and the missus. It did need some tightening up on the script and there could have been a bit more 'sci-fi' to it rather than Viking shenanigans.

I think Jim C. played it a bit too sour, but that's only mildly a fault. I also think the director and crew may have had a higher expectation of 'metaphor' than the film actually deserved.
