Review of Outlander (2008) by Rune B — 06 Aug 2010
This was a movie I never heard of till some flixster friends recommended it my way. I must say this is a solid sci-fi adventure movie. Has a bit of action. horror, drama and sci-fi all mixed into a neat story.
Basically a man from space crashes on Earth around the time of vikings in Norway. But he also brings a monster with him that kills anything on site and he must stop it with the help of a viking village.
A solid story with a solid cast. James Caviezel is solid as the lead in this film. I was also impressed with the action and F/X in this film. They did a good job on the monster. The only thing I wished they explained was if the spaceman was from a future or the present in space.
But other than that this is a film worth watching.
