Ticks all the standard fantasy/scifi action boxes. Entertaining-ish but a bit daft and almost entirely predictable. Very long for this kind of film, and I'm amazed there were so many deleted/extended scenes.
Drunk Vikings playing balancing games on wobbly shields is an amusing concept and the monster is pretty cool. Shame the dialogue sucks and Jim Caviezel is more wooden than a woodcarved Arnie statue.
