A retelling of Beowulf -- only with vikings versus aliens and a spacefarer to boot -- this is a fun B movie (in the best sense of the term) popcorn flick despite being predictable that unfortunately failed to find an audience because it will go down as just one of many examples of the Weinsteins torpedoing their own movies (budget cuts, running time restrictions, sitting on the shelf for years, unceremoniously dumped into minimal theaters without fanfare) and screwing over everyone who made them.
