Review of Outlander (2008) by Phil P — 27 Jun 2012
Outlander has a odd but for some reason interesting premise but for the first hour or so there's nothing of note or even thought. What follows is a series of lackluster performances from everyone the lead in particular couple with some nice special effects. The emotional connection it attempts at is forced, useless and not effective. The only redeeming qualities are some slightly interesting fight scenes and the Morweens design.
The phrase 'Iv'e seen worse movies' springs to mind, but this can only be recommended to very very ultra die hard sci-fi fans and that ain't me.
