Sean Connery plays a marshal sent to a mining outpost to investigate some recent accidents. He finds that he is far from welcome and that things may be a bit more serious than he thought. Peter Boyle plays the camps c.
O., the father of everybody loves raymond, and you can tell from first meeting that this guy is up to no good. Connery's wife leaves him to take their son back to Earth to raise him there. So alone on an outland mining port he finds himself in a dangerous drug epidemic designed to make the workers produce more in less time.
With the help of the local doctor they uncover a cover up that goes all the way up the food chain.
