Review of Outland (1981) by Peter J — 04 Mar 2009
Digging through my Netflix instant. This was one I'd glanced at in video stores over the years, and probably would have felt a little cheated paying $3-$4 for it. That being said, I'm more fond of slower movies than some, and I quite liked the even paced noir feel that the first half of the movie had.
The latter half, with it's clumsy action, wasn't horrible, but could have been better. I will agree that Frances Sternhagen was outstanding... now I want to see "The Mist" just to catch her performance!
