Review of Outland (1981) by David H — 09 Apr 2009
Sure there are some lapses in logic and some questionable science but, Outland is a fun sci-fi western with a strong cast. Connery is great as the gruff, burnt out sheriff who stands alone against corruption and drug trafficing on a Jupiter mining colony.
The always dependable Peter Hyams keeps the action moving while providing us with an old fashioned tale of noble heros and slimy villians. A good popcorn movie.
