Review of Outland (1981) by Van R — 11 May 2012
The look is 100% Alien but on the grander scale of a moonbase with a population of workers. The problem is the ill-defined and rather mundane plot that fails to make anything of the fantastical situation and would have worked as well or better on earth.
Visually the movie is far more interesting than its content and with a slow pace it lacks the tension to raise it above its fairly routing plot.
