Entertaining to say the least, but a bit ridiculous as you really don't see the point as to why the characters did what they did. Aside from Denzel's, the film suffers from a bad case of over-the-top characters.
..the detective ex-wife played by a mediocre Eva Mendes, the girlfriend clearly out to manipulate, and the too lighthearted medical examiner best friend who takes everything with a laugh.
