Review of Out of Time (2003) by Sidney S — 11 Mar 2012
An intelligent and thrilling dramatic crime film. Out of Time is a terrific entertainment and a great action film that features a solid performance from Denzel Washington(Training Day, Man on Fire). Washington is suave and sophisticated in his role, he was cool and slick even when all the evidence of the crime pointed at him he was able to manipulate the situation.
Dean Cain (Lois & Clark) departs from his frequent good guy roles and plays a deceiving, scumbag of a villain. Eva Mendes is stunning and well suited for her role. The story was good enough to keep me interested from start to finish it kept you guessing how the hell is he going to get out of this situation and in the end had a very satisfying conclusion.
A great thriller, any fan of action films or cop dramas has to check this out.
