This classic, prime film-noir. This is the movie that made me totally fall in love with noir. It has everything: guns, double crosses, cigarette smoke, murder, blackmail, jazz, and a dame to die for...
Or worse, to kill for. The mystery is eloquently written and Jane Greer is one the sexiest women ever to grace the screen with her sinfully delicious presence. Her scene in the beach house with Robert Mitchum is years ahead of it's time.
