Some decent acting just wasn't enough to salvage this disjointed screenplay and questionable plot choices. The film start out as trying to provide social commentary on the difficulties for military soldiers coming home but ends up turning into a cheap revenge movie.
The New Jersey characters were more caricatures then actual people and seemed like they were borrowed from another film.
