Review of Out of the Furnace (2013) by Eric M — 10 May 2014
This is an odd one. On the one hand, it has the makings of a great movie. Casey Affleck, Christian Bale, etc. populate the movie and in that respect it is hard to turn away from. On the other hand, it isn't really reinventing the wheel or doing something that other films have done better.
