The movie has a fine cast and powerful performances, but its undercut by the run of the mill revenge picture cliches. The first half is unpredictable and tense, but it slowly loses its pent up energy with its pacing.
Despite the good acting, Out of the Furnace has great set design and style, but needed a better storyline.
