Review of Out of the Furnace (2013) by Mike P — 25 Apr 2014

I walked away from this one really not sure how to feel. Did I like it? I think so, I mean I honestly didn't dislike it. It takes half the film for the main plot to happen. Then, everything just completely goes non stop from there.

A brother gets out of jail, what he left behind is no longer his, his brother is brutally murdered, why? I mean you know why because they set up his killer with familiar trappings, but.... it's just not a very well developed film.

I want to like it because, well there's a solid cast, but seriously, I think I liked it more for that then the actual movie.
