Review of Out of Sight (1998) by Ryan S — 20 Jan 2008
I love this movie. Clooney is great as bank robber Jack Foley, a swindling con man who is sly as hell. Lopez turns in possibly her best role as well as the DA Clooney becomes attracted to. What follows is a very unique romance/crime film where Soderbergh hits all the right notes.
Perfectly edited with outstanding performances by all of the supporting characters, this film is pure, intelligent fun, and one of my favorite films.
