Review of Out of Sight (1998) by Jack G — 06 Jul 2011
The vintage crime-noir-black-comedy wine of Soderbergh's career: gets better, sharper with age. Only minor complaint: if it takes place in the same universe as Jackie Brown (with Ray Nicolette in both, albeit here FBI instead of ATF as before), what's with Sam Jackson's cameo here as some character that is definitely NOT Ordell Robie? Kinda weird.
Otherwise, awesome movie.
